Game Format & Scoring

First player to reach 15 points wins. Score is capped at 15. No time limit. Make it, take it.

Fouls & Free Throws

Fouls are called by the referee not by players. Free throw results determine possession.

Shooting foul (missed shot)
1 FT · make = retain, miss = change
And-1 (fouled on a make)
Basket counts + 1 FT · make = retain
Unsportmanalike foul
1 FT · possession retained regardless
After 3 total fouls
1 FT · make = retain, miss = change

Defensive Contact

Defenders must be physical but clean. Contact is strictly enforced.

One-hand touch
Allowed on the catch
Two hands on the offensive player
Automatic foul

Player Conduct

Trash talk within basketball context is allowed. Personal or offensive behaviour is not.

Technical Fouls

Technicals are for conduct, not basketball plays.

1 free throw + loss of possession
2nd Technical
2 free throws + loss of possession + possible ejection

Fighting, throwing the ball, post-shot contact, disrespect, slamming
Delay of game
Warning · repeat = technical

Timeouts

Timeouts are a resource. Use them wisely.

Unused timeouts do not carry to the second half
